2011
Vocal
Scholarship Recipient

The 2011
recipient of the Larimer Chorale's fifth annual vocal scholarship to
the CSU
Summer Music Camp is Savannah
Lloyd. Savannah will be a junior at
Fossil Ridge High School starting fall of 2011. She is currently
a member of the Select Women's Choir, as well as The Dynamics, a select
performance ensemble of Fossil Ridge. Savannah has been singing
all her life, but really began to discover her passion for singing when
she received her first solo in fourth grade. In April, Savannah
performed as Aunt March in the Fossil Ridge High School musical
production of Little Women. This spring she also participated in
her first ever NATS competition at the University of Northern
Colorado. Savannah is immensely thankful for all the
opportunities she has been blessed with throughout her life.
Music is her prime passion, alongside acting and theatre
performance. Savannah plans to attend a college with a strong
emphasis on vocal performance and theatre production. Savannah
would like to thank her mom and dad for always believing in her and
encouraging her to follow her heart. This scholarship is an
amazing opportunity for her to learn and grow as a musician. She
is forever grateful to The Larimer Chorale for bestowing this
honor.
